What do I need to run ChainE?
A Windows or Mac PC, a Zerodha account with Kite Connect API subscription (₹500/month from Zerodha). ChainE runs locally on your machine — your data never leaves your computer.
Can I use it on multiple computers?
Each license supports up to 2 machines. You can change machines up to 3 times per month. Contact support for additional transfers.
Is this SEBI compliant?
ChainE is a simulator for paper trading and options analysis. No real orders are placed at the exchange. All trades are simulated using live market data from Zerodha's Kite Connect WebSocket.
What happens if my internet goes down?
ChainE has a 24-hour offline grace period. Your license is cached locally, so temporary internet outages won't interrupt your trading day.
